Empowering the Next Generation of Liberian Leaders
Teamwork Africa’s Youth Mentorship Program is shaping the future of Liberia by investing in its most valuable resource—its young people. This initiative has two vibrant branches: AG Boys (Achieving Greatness Beyond Our Yes), designed to inspire and equip boys, and Inspire Girls, dedicated to empowering young women to grow in confidence, character, and purpose.
Each week, trained mentors meet with students for a focused one-hour session in partnering schools. These gatherings begin with a meaningful discussion—either a story from the Bible or a lesson on a key character quality. Students then break into smaller groups of three or four, creating a safe space for open dialogue, questions, and personal reflection. Finally, everyone comes together again to share insights, reinforce lessons, and encourage one another.
With group sizes capped at 30 students, each participant receives the attention and guidance they need to grow. As interest spreads, additional groups are formed to ensure no willing student is left without mentorship. By providing consistent guidance, moral teaching, and supportive relationships, Teamwork Africa is equipping young men and women to make wise choices, pursue their dreams, and become leaders who will positively impact their communities for generations to come.
