Please Pray for Peggy this moth as she travels to Liberia! Below is a day-by-day prayer Calander so you know how you can best pray each day of her travels!
9/2: Flight to Liberia leaves from ORD @ 6 pm
Please pray for smooth travel.
9/3: Arrive @ ROB 7 pm
Pray that all the luggage arrives.
Pray that the electricity is working at the guest house and there are no leaks in the roof!
9/4: 1st Starfish Kids distribution day at Hope for Life
Pray that all the supplies are ready to go!
9/5: 2nd Starfish Kids Day at Imago Dei
Pray that each student feels loved and seen by God through us.
9/6: 3rd Starfish Kids Day
(All the rest of the students) Pray that each student feels loved and seen by God through us.
School opens!
9/7: Pray that the team and I will take a day of rest.. Pray that each Starfish we saw will know how loved they are
9/8: Pray for our teachers as they prepare for a new school year.
9/9: Pray that all the supplies shipped to Liberia arrive safely and are received by those who need them most.
9/10: Pray that we continue to register more students to attend: Imago Dei and Hope for Life
9/11: Pray for our Teamwork Africa staff:
Francis, Roseline, AB, Samuel, Tarnue, Ophelia, Willie, Angeline, Timothy & Richard
9/12: Pray for good weather so that we can hold the first day of our 2-day Team Training.
Pray for wisdom and strength for me as I facilitate the workshop
9/13: Same as yesterday!
And, pray that the topics we discuss go deep into our hearts as we learn true teamwork and developing trusting relationships
9/14: Pray for a day to rest and enjoy time with family and friends.
9/15: Pray for clear communication with our staff as we go through employment agreements with each one.
9/16: Pray for our Teamwork Africa Liberia board and productive meeting & planning for the future
9/17: Pray for the orphans:
Alex, Precious, Comfort, Sarah, Anthony, Angel and so many others.
9/18: Pray for safe travels and good weather as it is the rainy season. Pray for our little jeep to stay strong!
9/19: Pray that our youth program is successfully launched! Pray for each of the mentors, assistants and students attending each week.
9/20: Pray for our sewing program. Pray that we will have wisdom so that it runs smoothly and is beneficial for our young women.
9/21: Pray for a day to reflect and rest. Pray that my strength and health stays strong as I head towards the end of this adventure.
9/22: Pray for Francis. He has so many responsibilities. Pray for his faith, his family, and the work God has called him to.
9/23: Pray that the work God intended for me to do was completed and I can prepare to return home in peace and with joy.
9/24: Pray for peace as I prepare to leave for the airport and for safe travel.

1. We are sending five teachers to Liberia Reads teacher training in preparation to open our newest school. Please pray for each of them.
2. A young woman reached out to me a couple of weeks ago after trying to terminate her pregnancy several times. The doctor told her she might die if she tried again. She had already run away from home in fear that her mother would kick her out if she knew. I was able to get her in touch with our social worker who counseled her and met with her mother. We praise God that her mother will allow her to come home, but they need financial support to pay for medical care and food. We hope to start sending $50/month for at least the next six months. Please pray for this young woman and her mom.
3. We are hoping to train more youth mentors during July and August. Please pray for God to lead the right people to us and for us to know who are the right people!
4. Pray for the health and protection of our staff in Liberia, especially our country director, Francis.
5. Our sewing program for young women will be starting July 21. 30 young women will meet three days/week for six weeks to learn hand sewing and basic sewing machine skills. Please pray that these women will not only learn how to sew, but will also grow closer to Jesus.
6. I will be in Liberia for three weeks in Sept. I will be working with our staff to open both of our schools. Please pray for safe travels, strength, wisdom and courage.
